Prayers & Squares Prayer Quilt Ministry
The Prayers & Squares Prayer Quilt Ministry combines the gift of prayer
with the gift of hand-tied quilts. Quilts are given to anyone in special
need of prayer. Each member of the congregation prays for the person
in special need as they tie a knot using threads
stitched through the quilt layers.

Angel Tree Christmas
Keeler UMC partners with the international Prison Fellowship Ministry by accepting the opportunity to share in Christ’s love by connecting parents in prison with their children through the purchasing and delivering of Christmas gifts. The parent in prison completes an application requesting that their child(ren) be included in the program. The names of the children are provided to participating churches. The gifts are given in the name of the parent who is in prison. What an opportunity this provides to let children know that they are not forgotton.

Keeler UMC helps support the Hartford Cooperating Ministries Food Pantry by making donations of food, paper products, personal care items and money. The money is used to make purchases from the Feeding America Food Bank housed in Benton Harbor. Opportunities are also available through CMFP to reach out to members of the community via a Christmas Community Dinner and a Ministry Fair in the Ely Park in Hartford.
